As of writing this blog we are months away from the new year, and as such I’ll be providing you, the reader with five of the greatest commercials of 2022 so far and I hope that they will inspire you in your marketing endeavours moving forward.
1. Samsung – Love hurts – the spider.
The first commercial is by Samsung for their brand-new Galaxy S22 smartphone. This advert features a spider in love with the brand-new smartphone from Samsung (you read that correct) and was made by Dorian and Daniel who are “graduates of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart, Germany”. It is a creative, charming, and a roller-coaster of emotions.

2. Apple – 911
The second commercial is by the world-famous tech company Apple and features recorded 911 calls of 3 Apple customers Jason, Jim, and Amanda who with the help of their Apple Watch were able to get rescued in a matter of minutes. The advert is very simple and features text on the screen followed by background arial shots that (presumably) occurred. It is certainly a powerful advert with a sad and serious tone to it.
Warning some viewers may find the advert to be a bit emotionally heavy.

3. Pringles – Reaching for the last crips.
In this third commercial by Pringle, the viewer is presented with a life story of a man, who at party, accidently gets his hand stuck in a pringle box, trying to get the last of the pringles in the box. This advert has a very comedic tone to it, with a funny twist at the end.

Imagine if your Amazon Alexa could read your mind! Do you think it would be a good idea?
